Acceptance of terms

By creating a CleoNote account or using any part of the product, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use CleoNote.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials safe. CleoNote signs you in via Google — keep your Google account secure.

You must be at least 13 years old to use CleoNote. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

Acceptable use

Upload only content you own or have the right to use. Do not use CleoNote to generate, store, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or that violates someone else's rights.

Do not attempt to reverse engineer the service, overwhelm our infrastructure, or abuse the AI pipelines to bypass usage limits.

Subscriptions and billing

CleoNote offers a free tier and one or more paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial periods except where required by law.

Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload and of the generated notes, flashcards, quizzes, and mind maps in your account. You grant CleoNote a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely so we can provide the service to you.

We do not use your uploads or generated content to train models.

Service availability

We work hard to keep CleoNote available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, change, or temporarily suspend the service for maintenance or to ship improvements.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, abuses the service, or that we are legally required to remove.

Disclaimer

CleoNote generates notes and study material using AI. Generated content can contain mistakes and should not be treated as authoritative — always verify against the original source before relying on it for exams or professional work.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CleoNote will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify signed-in users by email before it takes effect. Continued use of CleoNote after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
